Quotas for University Admission, quickly eliminated, is the oft quoted "Evidence of Discrimination" used by LTTE supporters to demonize the Sinhala community of Sri Lanka. You now have quotas in Tamil Nadu not only for "historically disadvantaged" scheduled castes, but also for the "historically advantaged" Brahmins! If every caste gets quotas for their poor, I recommend that you GET RID OF CASTE-BASED QUOTAS altogether and implement affirmative action on the basis of POVERTY & NEED alone. This will ensure HARMONY among your people. Also remember, you guys are way behind us in Sri Lanka when it comes to ENFORCING SOCIAL EQUITY and uplifting the people. So, please stop PREACHING to Sri Lanka; just uplift your own illiterate and poor people without brewing racial hatred in Lanka!
