Abandon double standards: Inconsistent Indian policies

ABANDON DOUBLE STANDARDS! How is India handling separatist movements within India? Are you negotiating, or sending the army in? I didn't see negotiations with the sikhs taking over the Golden Temple in Srinagar nor with the terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir. Well, I'll tell you: Every separatist movement that has been successfully contained in India, has been suppressed militarily. It is the duty and right of sovereign India to maintain its integrity, and to take military action to protect the lives of its people, but yet Indians have a different standard for Sri Lanka. Why is the same principle not being applied consistently to all cases? What are your principles; do you have any, any at all on this issue? Or does it depend only on whose ox is being gored, and that small neighbors can be bullied at will?
